''The really sad thing is that when I was young Richard Moore didn't seem a common name, however in the age of Google it seems there are about 31 bazillion of us.'' - Richard Moore the 27,000,000,001st.

Faces of ANZAC,
Veterans on ANZAC Day, Melbourne, Australia

I cannot recall how many ANZAC Day parades I have attended - upwards of 35 in Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands. I have just digistised the negatives for these black-and-white images from Melbourne parades held between the mid 1980s to early 1990s. I wanted to photograph the old Diggers before they passed away and for this series have just concentrated on them. Another group of photos will show more of the ceremony of ANZAC Day.
